Eduardo Noriega Gomez is a Spanish actor who was born on August 1st 1973 in Santander, Cantabria, Spain. After finishing high school, he majored as a lawyer at the University of Santander, Spain. He later moved to Madrid to start his drama classes at the Madrid Acting Conservatory (RESAD). As a child, he was a piano prodigy.
Eduardo rose to fame for his performances in Alejandro Amenabar’s films Tesis and Abre los Ojos. He is also famous for starring as Enrique in the 2008 hit movie Vantage Point for which he won many awards. His film Tesis won the 1996 Goya Award for Best Film. He was named one of European film’s Shooting Stars by European Film Promotion in 1999 and was also named a European Revelation of 2001 at Cannes Film Festival-Le Studio. Eduardo also won the Golden Mic in Santander from the Federación de Asociaciones de Radio y TV in 2009. He is also the first Spanish actor to play Che Guevara. His favorite football club is FC Barcelona.
