Elder Bio
Elder is an American rock band that was formed in 2005 in New Bedford, Massachusetts, United States. The founding members of the band were Nick DiSalvo (main singer and songwriter), Jack Donovan (bassist), and Matt Couto (drummer).
The band dropped their debut album Elder on Meteor City Records in 2008. They followed up with their sophomore effort Dead Roots Stirring two years later which appeared on Meteor City and Headspin Productions. The EP Spires Burn/Release was released in 2012 through Armageddon. Their live set Roadburn 2013 was issued by Amsterdam-based Roadburn Records in early 2014. The band’s third studio LP Lore appeared in 2015 and was released by Armageddon in the United States and Stickman Records in the European Union. The same labels released their Reflections of a Floating World in 2017 which featured guest musicians Mike Risberg and Michael Samos.
