Alyson Mackenzie Stroker (who’s popularly known as Ali Stroker) is an American actress and singer who was born on June 16th 1987 in Ridgewood, New Jersey, United States. She was born and raised in the US. Ali graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts.
Ali rose to fame for her role as Anna in the Deaf West Theatre’s revival of the musical Spring Awakening. She is also known as the first actress in need of a wheelchair for mobility to appear on a Broadway stage. She holds the national record in wheelchair racing and is also the first ever wheelchair-using performer to win a Tony Award for Featured Actress in a Musical. Ali finished second on the 2012 The Glee Project reality competition series and was later cast in a starring role in Glee (2013).
