Captain Hook Bio
Reshef Harari or better known as Captain Hook is a DJ and producer from Israel. He is one of the top musicians, producers, and artists in the Psychedelic and Progressive Trance scene. At the age of 15, he began to experiment with sounds, collecting vinyl and practicing on turntables, and at 17 he started DJing at various parties. Reshef learned the process of compressing and EQing on analogue gear when he worked in a sound company, and in 2003, after he met Avi Nini, the owner of Domo records, he started to DJ as part of the label. He also founded a project together with Adi Ashkenazi, called Quantize. In 2009 they released their debut album titled Time.
In 2011 his popularity sparked with the debut album Human Design, on which he collaborated with Liquid Soul, Loud, Ace Ventura, and many more. In 2013 he released his remix album Akashic Library, and in 2018, he released the album Origin, which helped him reinvent his sound once again. Captain Hook has been playing in some of the world’s most popular festivals including XXXPerience, Tribe, Burning Man, Dreamstate, Ozora, Psy-Fi & Airbeat One, and many more.
