Made up of vocalist/bass player Max Collins, drummer Tony Fagenson and guitarist John Siebels, the punk-rock band Eve 6 was formed in high school, where it was originally called Eleventeen. The band signed with record label RCA Records in 1995 but only released their debut album after completing their high school education.
This album soared to the top of the charts in 1998, topping big music names such as the Goo Goo Dolls, with their single Inside Out becoming the number one modern rock song, causing the record to go platinum. The song has over 20 million views on YouTube, showing the success this album reached.
The band had a rough few years in the 2000s, being dropped by RCA Records and decided to disband. Years later, in 2011, the band reformed under new management, signing with Fearless Records and releasing their third album Speak In Code.
