Fara Williams Bio
Fara Tanya Franki Williams Merrett, better known as Fara Williams, is an English former footballer, born on January 25, 1984, in Battersea, London, United Kingdom. She played as a central midfielder for multiple clubs, as well as the English national team.
Fara made her professional debut for the Chelsea Ladies, then progressed to Charlton Athletic in 2001. Three years later, she signed with Everton, where she spent eight years before signing with Liverpool in 2012. In 2009, she was named FA Players' Player of the Year. The London native made her senior debut for the England Women's Team in 2002.
She played at the 2005, 2009, 2013, and 2017 European Championships, as well as the World Cups in 2007, 2011, and 2015. She played alongside players like Karen Bardsley, Faye White, Casey Stoney, and more.
