Fito Páez is an Argentine popular rock and roll pianist, lyricist, singer-songwriter, and film director. He was born on March 13, 1963.
He began playing with many bands shortly after graduating from high school and released his first solo album, Del '63, in 1984.
It was first pushed in his hometown, but it gained traction in Buenos Aires as well. Some of Argentina's most well-known musicians, including Daniel Wirtz, Fabián Gallardo, Tweety González, and Paul Dourge, contributed to the recording.
The record earned him critical praise as a songwriter and paved the way for future endeavors, notably Giros, a 1985 album.
