Enrique Javier Hernández, better known as Kike Hernandez, is a Puerto Rican professional baseballer who plays as a utility player. He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on August 24, 1991. Kike spent his formative years playing for American Military Academy, and he turned professional in 2009 when he was drafted by the Houston Astros. He has since represented the Miami Marlins, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Boston Red Sox, and throughout his time with the Boston Red Sox, Kike played alongside Jackie Bradley Jr., J. D. Martinez, Bobby Dalbec, Chris Sale, and Xander Bogaerts. His career highlights include World Series Champion and a Fielding Bible Award.
