Lamar Jackson, also known as Lamar Demeatrice Jackson Jr., is an NFL American Football player. He was born in Pompano, Florida in 1997, and started playing football at an early age. He attended Louisville College, and from 2015 on he was awarded multiple recognitions, like the Walter Camp and Maxwell football college awards, and the Adidas High Performance Male Athlete distinction. It was in 2018 when he was drafted into the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens. With this team he won the AFC North season with record stats, and occupying the quarterback position, he entered the playoffs as the youngest NFL player to date. 2019 also saw Jackson top the previous rushing and passing records, and by the end of 2020’s Pro Bowl he was named Most Valuable Player.
