Jose Alberto Bio
El Canario, born Jose Alberto Justiniano on the 22nd of December 1958 in Santo Domingo and is a Dominican salsa singer. Starting his band in 1983, the artist became well known for his debut album Noches Calientes, known for his pioneering of the new sound, salsa romantica, his work was a hit and Alberto was soon given the nickname El Canario, or The Canary.
With eighteen studio albums released from his debut to 2018, the artist is well known for such albums as On Time, Sueno Contigo, Dance With Me, Llego La Hora, Then and Now and many others. With hit songs that include, Muera el amor, Bailemos otra vez, El molde, El Temor Me Hizo Perderte and many more, the artist is credited with establishing a new sound.
