Hot Water Music is an alternative rock group from Florida, which mixes styles from punk and grunge rock. Their line-up is Chuck Ragan (vocals, guitar), Chris Wollard (vocals, guitar), Jason Black (bass), and George Rebelo (drums). Having dual lead vocalists and guitars gives their songs some of the back-and-forth style of hip-hop. Their debut EP was “Eating the Filter” (1995), and they cranked out three studio albums only to disband in 1996.
Hot Water Music reformed in 1997 and minus a couple of breaks, continue to this day. They have mixed members with the bands The Flatliners and Less Than Jake. By the new millennium, they had signed with Epitaph records label, releasing new albums including “A Flight And A Crash” (2001) and “Caution” (2002), both well-received. they’ve brough tit all the way back since then by switching labels to Rise Records, releasing a self-produced album “Light It Up.”
