Kara Marni is a British singer and songwriter who was born in 1998 in London. She was brought up in the city and attended the BRIT school for a while before she dropped out. Kara fell in love with music after listening to her mum sing Minnie Ripperton’s Loving You. Her music inspirations include Lauryn Hill, Roberta Flack and Anita Baker. Kara’s debut single Golden was produced by The Invisible Men (Zayn, Rita Ora, Ellie Goulding and Iggy Azalea) and in 2018, her debut EP Love Just Ain’t Enough dropped. Kara’s music has been streamed over 30m times on multiple platforms. No Logic dropped in 2019. Kara has supported Lewis Capaldi, Rita Ora, Raye, and Ray BLK. Her music has been featured on MTV Push and Love Island and on radio stations including Radio 1, Capital Xtra, Rinse, Reprezent and Radio 1Xtra.
