Joshua Kimmich Bio
Joshua Walter Kimmich is a German Footballer, born in Rottweil, Germany, on the 8th of February 1995. Growing up in a small village of Bosingen, Kimmich had an immediate attraction to football. At a young age, he joined a local youth team and was soon scouted by Stuttgart coaches after they saw him play in a match. He received a scholarship with Stuttgart youth football team and his journey started. Not qualifying for the Stuttgart senior team after a few tries, he made the decision to move to RB Leipzig’s football team in 2013.
Throughout his high school career, Kimmich played for the Germany teams U17, U18, U19, and U21. After 2 years with RB Leipzig, in 2015, Kimmich joined Bayern, Munich. With Bayern, Kimmich would play Defensive Midfield and occasionally, right-back or central midfielder. In 2016, he debuted as a defensive midfielder with the German team. He has played 50 matches and scored 3 goals.
