Juana Acosta is a Colombian-Spanish actress, born on November 28, 1976, in Cali, Colombia. She is best known for her roles in Spanish television series such as Carlos, Hospital Central, The Vineyard, Velvet, and Family. Juana made her screen debut in 1995 in the television series Mascarada alongside Juan Ángel and Adriana López. She has also appeared in films and tv shows such as Perfect Strangers, Ola de crímenes, Jefe, Crematorio, Anna, Libertador, 7 años, Vientos de la Habana. In 2010, she filmed the politically themed television film, Sanctuaire and received the Fipa de Oro for Best Female in a Drama in the Biarritz Festival. Her other notable films and TV series include Imprisoned, Wave of Crimes, Giants, The Vineyard, Vernon Subutex, Netflix's The Innocent, and others. The actress Valentina Acosta is Juana`s older sister.
