Justin Turner was born in Long Beach, California on November 23, 1984. He was the seventh round pick of the Cincinnati Reds in the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft. The Reds traded him to the Baltimore Orioles. He became a free agent in 2013, and he signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers the year after. After becoming a free agent in 2016, he opted to continue playing with the Dodgers. He currently plays for Los Angeles Dodgers and serves as the third baseman. He made his MLB debut on September 9, 2009, in a match against the Baltimore Orioles. He participated in the All-Star Games in 2017. He was also the NLCS MVP in 2017. He was the National League Rookie of the Month in May 2011 and the NL Player of the Month in August 2018.
