Craig “Wheezy Waiter” Benzine Bio
Craig Benzine, better known for his YouTube channel WheezyWaiter, is an American video creator, musician, and vlogger, born on October 5, 1980, in Marshall, Wisconsin. Initially, Craig posted about frustrations with his job on his YouTube channel but later included daily video blogs, song parodies, and commentary on culture.
In 2006, he co-starred in short comedy video clips together with Matt Webber, Nate Bartley, and Sam Grant. Later they formed an indie-rock band called Driftless Pony Club. Craig was the band’s lead singer and guitarist. He is good friends with writer John Green and YouTuber Hank Green. He made a video to promote water.org with Matt Damon. Craig is also an actor and writer, and some of his work include WheezyWaiter in 2007, Fine Tuned in 2014, and Algorhythm in 2016. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Communication Arts: Radio, Television, and Film.
