Lee Kernaghan is an Australian country music singer, songwriter, and musician born in Victoria, Australia on April 15, 1964. In 1985 he released his debut studio album titled Family Tradition. He has since released the albums The Outback Club, Three Chain Road, 1959, Hat Town, The Christmas Album, Rules of the Road, Electric Rodeo, The New Bush, Planet Country, Spirit of the Bush, Beautiful Noise, Spirit of the Anzacs, Driving Home for Christmas and more. Kernaghan has had four Gold albums, seven Platinum albums, and two double Platinum albums. He sold over two million albums worldwide and has had 33 number one hits on the Australian country chart. Throughout his career he has been nominated for numerous awards and has won 37 Country Music of Australia Awards, four APRA Awards, two ARIA Awards, and a Music For A New Generation Award. In 2004 he received the Order of Australia Medal and in 2008 was Australian of the Year. He was inducted into the Australian Roll of Renown in 2015.
