Brooke Ashley Lyons is an actress who was born on November 8, 1980, in Washington D.C. She grew up in Connecticut and studied English Literature at Yale University. She then decided to start acting and she made her first tv appearance on an episode of “American Dreams” in 2004. She kept playing small parts in different tv series such as “That’s so Raven” (2006), “The Starter Wife” (2008) and “Desperate Housewives” (2009). She became known for playing Amy in the movie “Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins”, a comedy film by Malcolm D. Lee that also features Martin Lawrence, Nicole Ari Parker, Margaret Avery, Michael Clarke Duncan, Mike Epps, Mo'Nique, Cedric the Entertainer, Louis C.K., and James Earl Jones. She then kept making appearances on well-known tv shows such as “Law & Order: LA”, “Two and a Half Men”,” The Affair” and “iZombie”. She starred in the 2021 musical drama TV show “Paradise City”.
