Louis Tin Lok Koo (also known as Koo Jai or Louis Koo) is a Hong Kong actor and movie producer who was born on October 21, 1970, in Hong Kong. His Cantonese name is Koo Tin-Lok and his Mandarin name is Gu Tianle. Louis began his professional career as an actor in local TV series and went on to win TVB’s Best Actor award in 1999 and 2001. He is now one of the biggest actors in the Hong Kong movie industry. As an actor and producer, he is best known for Paradox (2017), Protege (2007), and The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021). He works closely with Hong Kong-based directors Johnnie To and Benny Chan, setting up his own movie production company in 2013. Louis is also an avid toy collector. He owns a warehouse in Hong Kong where he stores his life-sized action figures from movies like Star Wars, Alien, and The Terminator. He also has figures of superheroes such as Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Batman.
