Damon Dash Bio
Born on May 3, 1971, Damon Dash came from New York City, New York, USA. His debut in music industry was with his production of the rap group Original Flavor’s first album. During his ownership of Roc-A-Fella Records, Dash was the man behind the acquisitions of Armadale Vodka and Pro Keds.
He is also responsible for the signing of Cam’ron to Roc-A-Fella, making a controversy signalling the end of Damon’s relationship with friend and business associate Shawn Carter (Jay Z). Soon, Rock-A-Fella was sold to Def Jam. He then started his very own Damon Dash Music Group. Dash is currently an actor and a movie director as well.
