Daniel Francis Croll is an English singer, musician, and songwriter who make Indie rock, pop, and folktronica. He was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England, on July 18, 1990. He trained professionally at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts where his career was propelled by winning the annual Songwriter of the Year award from the Musicians' Benevolent Fund. He released his debut single From Nowhere in 2012 and his debut studio project Sweet Disarray in 2014. His discography includes the hit singles Compliment Your Soul, From Nowhere, Home, Yesterday, the albums Emerging Adulthood, and Grand Plan. He has been featured on Blossom’s compilation of Honey Sweet’s remixes and John Legend’s single A Place Called World that also featured Nach and Anni B Sweet.
