Selcuk Bayraktar Bio
Selcuk Bayraktar is a well-known Turkish businessman and engineer, who was born in 1979 in Sariyer, Istanbul. He studied in Turkey before moving to USA, where he received a master’s degree in 2004. After finishing his education, he began working for Baykar in Turkey in the capacity of chief technology officer in 2007. Selcuk served as the chief technology officer in the Turkish technology company, Baykar, and is the architect of Turkey's first indigenous and operational unmanned aerial vehicle systems. In addition to this, he was given the responsibility of leading the Turkish Technology Team Foundation as its founding chairman. Under his leadership, Baykar has developed Bayraktar UAVs, Turkey's first indigenous UAV project, including the Bayraktar Mini UAV, Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar VTOL, and Bayraktar Aknc.
