Sertab Erener Bio
Sertab Altın (who’s popularly known as Sertab Erener) is a Turkish singer-songwriter and musical artist who was born on December 4th 1964 in Istanbul, Turkey. She was born and raised in Istanbul.
Sertab is well known as a co-founder of the band Painted on Water which she founded with Demir Demirkan in 2009 and also for her appearance in the Turkish national Eurovision Song Content. Her solo debut album Sakin Ol (Calm Down) was released in 1992. She is known for hit track Every Way That I Can which catapulted her to first place in the Eurovision Song Contest of 2003. Sertab appeared on Ozan Çolakoğlu’s 2012 album 01 and also on Fahir Atakoğlu’s 2008 album İz.
