Lydia Bio

Lydia is an indie rock band formed in 2003 in Gilbert, Arizona, USA. The current members include Leighton Antelman (lead vocals, guitar), Matt Keller (keyboard, guitar, programming), Shawn Strader (bass guitar), and Evan Chapman (drums, percussion). They are associated with HourZero, Lincstar Records, and Low Altitude Records. The band became prominent in 2005 after winning a national competition.

The win got them featured in Atticus: Dragging the Lake compilation series by the clothing brand Atticus. They released their debut album, This December; It's One More and I'm Free, later that year under HourZero. They joined the 2006 Warped Tour with Spitalfield and Days Away. The band has released five studio albums, one video album, five music videos, three EPs, three singles, and two demos.

They made their Billboard 200 debut with their fifth studio album, Devil, in 2013. Their sixth album, Liquor, was released under Weekday Records in 2018 and was produced by Eric Palmquist. It featured Lauren Ruth Ward. Their discography includes Illuminate (2008), Assailants (2010), Paint It Golden (2011), Run Wild (2015), and I Was Someone Else (2020).
