Madeline The Person Bio
Madeline The Person is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter raised in Houston, Texas, USA. The alt-pop newcomer uses her songs to process trauma, triumph, and every other human experience. The Warner Records signee's career began on Instagram before switching to TikTok. She built a substantial following on TikTok, where she posted covers of Frank Ocean, Phoebe Bridgers, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Joni Mitchell, Queen, and so on.
She began her journey into original music with the release of her EP, CHAPTER 1: The Longing. The EP was released on April 30, 2021, and featured four songs, including the sad and evocative As a Child and I Talk to the Sky. The EP is a part of a trilogy. On September 17, 2021, she released the second part, CHAPTER 2: The Shedding.
It featured her autobiographical track August, a collaboration with Adam Melchor, and Unrecognizable. The third part of the trilogy, CHAPTER 3: The Burning, is set for release in July 2022. It will feature Why I Broke Up With You, Step On Flowers, and Not Sorry. MEAN! and its remix with Noah Kahan will also be in the EP.
