Tove Lo Bio
Tove Ebba Elsa Nilsson, who performs under the name Tove Lo, was born in Sweden on October 29, 1987. She was attracted to writing music and poetry as a young girl, and even attended the music school Rytmus Musikergymnasiet. She released her debut single in 2012, titled “Love Ballad”, and had at this point already begun her career in songwriting. Tove Lo’s second single, “Out of Mind”, was released in late 2013, followed by “Habits” that December. Spring of 2014 saw the release of her debut EP, Truth Serum, released through Universal Records and shot to #20 on the Swedish Album Chart. Her single “Stay High” charted highly not only in her home country, but in the UK, New Zealand, the Netherlands, and in Norway. Tove Lo later announced that she would be one of the opening acts on Katy Perry’s 2014 Prismatic World Tour in Australia.
