Pete Doherty Bio
Peter Doherty, also known as Pete, was born on 12th March, 1979 in Hexham, United Kingdom. He is a singer, songwriter, musician, performer, artist, actor, poet, and writer. Doherty has always shown interest in music, but before pursuing it, he attended Queen Mary College in London and studied English literature. Pop and rock is his musical specialty, and his style is alternative/indie rock, indie rock, and garage rock revival. He is also known for being a member of bands like The Libertines, the Puta Madres, and Babyshambles. Some of his song highlights are “She Is Far”, “I Don't Love Anyone (But You're Not Just Anyone)”, “Down for the Outing”, “Kolly Kibber”, “Broken Love Song”, “I Am the Rain”, and many more. Doherty writes poetry and has released a book called “The Books of Albion: The Collected Writings of Peter Doherty”. He is known for his engagement with the top model Kate Moss. In the movies, he is known for his work on “Child of Men”, “The 40-Year-Old Virgin”, “Kill Your Darlings”, “Confession of a Child of the Century”, etc.
