Elisa Toffoli Bio

Elisa Toffoli is an Italian singer-songwriter born in 1977 in Trieste. Her debut album “Pipes & Flowers” went out in 1997 and garnered various prizes in Italy, and prompted Elisa to tour Europe with Eros Ramazzotti. After releasing her second album “Asile’s World” (2000), a collaboration she did with musician Zucchero Fornaciari won the San Remo Festival. Her international break came with 2001’s “Then Comes The Sun”, which was released in more than 20 countries around the world. In the late 2000s, she was featured in Luciano Pavarotti’s project “Luciano and Friends”, alongside acts like Sting, Andrea Bocelli, and James Brown. After appearing in the international fundraiser “Live 8”, the artist made a collaboration with Tina Turner titled “Teach Me Again”. Elisa entered the US market with her 2008 album “Dancing”. The following year she released “Heart”, an album that went double-platinum. After some more notable album releases, Toffoli sang the Ennio Morricone song “Ancora Qui”, which featured as a soundtrack for the movie “Django Unchained” by Quentin Tarantino. Her album “ON” went out in 2016, and in 2017 she made numerous live performances for her 20th anniversary on stage.
