Mary Elizabeth León Herrera is a Mexican singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress best known for performing pop music. She was born in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, on February 14, 1986. Maria became famous as the lead singer of the band Playa Limbo, and in 2017, she began her solo career with the release of the singles El Jinete. Her discography includes the hit singles Perro Amor, Se Te Salio Mi Nombre, Resistire, Ya No Espero Mas, and the EP Inquebrantable. As an actress, Maria is best known for starring in the drama series Guerra de Idolos alongside Alberto Guerra, Alejandro de la Madrid, Sofía Lama, and Erika de la Rosa. She won a Fan’s Choice Award for Salsa, Cumbia, and Tropical.
