Mario Cantone Bio
Mario Cantone is an actor and comedian born on 9th December 1959 in Stoneham, Massachusetts, United States. He has performed many times on Comedy shows, such as the Chappelle’s Show. He began his career by hosting a children's show called Steampipe Alley. He is recognized for playing Anthony Morentino in the HBO series “Sex and the City.” He employs fast-paced and lively styles, drawing most of his humor from the impersonation of different characters, such as members of his family, stereotypes, and celebrities.
He made his first appearance on Broadway in 1995. One of his credits in Broadway is his second one-man show called “Laugh Whore,” which ran for about three months at the Cort Theatre. The show was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Special Theatrical Event. He was a judge in the Miss America pageant in 2014.
