Saul Stacey Williams is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, musician, poet, writer, and actor, who was born on February 29th, 1972 in Newburgh, New York, United States. He attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts to pursue his master's degree in acting and graduated with that degree. In the year 1998, he starred as the main character in the movie Slam. During the 1990s, he collaborated on stage with the singer-songwriter Erykah Badu. Saul is well-known for his unique combination of poetry and alternative hip hop, as well as for the lead roles he played in the independent films “Slam” (1998) and “Holler If Ya Hear Me” (2013), both of which were jukebox musicals. Additionally, he is responsible for the release of songs such as "List of Demands”.
