Twiztid Bio
Twiztid is an American hardcore hip hop duo from Detroit, Michigan formed in 1997 by Jamie Madrox (Jamie Spaniolo) and Monoxide Child (Paul Methric). Their debut album Mostasteless went out in 1997, with modest success. A second album released in 2000 by the name Freek Show peaked at #51 on the Billboard 200. Two years later the EP Mirror Mirror. Reached the 5th spot on the Top Independent Albums chart, and the 103rd on the Billboard 200. Third full-length studio album The Green Book peaked at #2 on the Top Independent Charts in 2003, and also reached the number 52 on the Billboard 200. After two more albums, their sixth effort Independents Day featured the talents of independent rappers such as Tha Dogg Pound, Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko, and Proof and Bizarre from D12. Between 2009 and 2020 they had a prolific studio trajectory, releasing 11 more total LP’s and EP’s.
