Moaning Lisa Bio
Moaning Lisa is an Australian alternative rock band, formed in 2016 by Charlie, Ellen, Hayley, and Hayden in Canberra. The band uses indie, punk, and rock music to build their unique style. Their music, mainly inspired by the sounds of bands like The Pixies or Wolf Alice, combines with lyrics charged with direct and honest expressions of their daily lives, gathering lots of assistants in their shows. In 2017 their EP “The Sweetest” was released, gaining the attention of the Australian public, airing on various radio stations including Triple R, Triple J, SYN, among others. During their career, Moaning Lisa has received diverse nominations, including for National Live Music Awards; their first single hit, “Comfortable” was named “Song of The Year” by BMA Magazine.
