Nichola Jonathan Frost is a British actor, writer and music producer. He was born on March 28, 1972, in Essex, England. When he was 10, he left Beal High School in Ilford and took a shipping company job to support his family. While working in North London, he met Simon Pegg, an actor, who later became his close friend and flatmate.
His professional career started in the late 1990s when he appeared in a Dixons sales video. In 2002, he began Danger! 50 000 Volts!, a TV show in which military experts demonstrate how to solve strategic problems. The show became a popular household series, signaling the beginning of his rise to stardom.
In the following years, Frost acted in several blockbuster movies and TV series. In conjunction with Pegg and Jessica Hynes, he wrote a comedy series Spaced. Since then, he has acted in several other blockbusters, winning several awards in the process. To mention just one, his role in the movie Shaun of the Dead won the Chainsaw Award for Best Supporting Actor.
