Actress Helena Bonham Carter, born May 26th 1966 in Golders Green, London, is known for her diverse acting range and captivating performances. Carter dazzled audiences throughout her career, appearing in Fight Club, The Theory of Flight, Novocaine, The Heart of Me, Big Fish, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, and Dark Shadows. Carter scored Golden Globe and Academy Award nominations for The Wings of Dove. Over her successful career she also snagged Golden Globe nominations for Fatal Deception: Mrs. Lee Harvey Oswald, Merlin, Live from Baghdad, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Burton and Taylor, and The Crown. Her performance in The King’s Speech also scored her Golden Globe and Oscar nominations. One of her most popular roles was in the Harry Potter franchise as Bellatrix Lestrange. Carter also appeared in Ocean’s Eight, Cinderella, and Alice Through the Looking Glass.
