Omid Djalili is an actor, stand-up comedian, producer, and writer born on September 30, 1965, in Chelsea, London, England. His jokes touch on religion, race, culture, stereotypes, and human interaction. He is an alumnus of Northern Ireland's University of Ulster. He has won several Best Stand Up Comedian awards, including Emma Award, Time Out Award, and LWT Comedy Award.
The Edinburgh Comedy Award Panel Prize winner has appeared on numerous TV shows, including BBC's Annually Retentive, My Family and Other Animals, and Little Britain, Channel Four's Jason & The Argonauts, Bloody Foreigners, and Small Potatoes, and BBC One's They Think It’s All Over, Lenny Henry In Pieces, and The Stand Up Show.
