Paul Brandon Gilbert is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who performs hard rock, power pop, and progressive metal. He was born in Carbondale, Illinois, United States, on November 6, 1966. Paul began his music career in 1983 when he was mainly a guitarist, and soon after, he became a member of bands like Racer X, Tau Zero, and Mr. Big. As a solo artist, he released his debut studio project Flying Dog in 1998. His discography includes the hit singles Fuzz Universe, Down to Mexico, A Thunderous Ovation Shook The Columns, Blues For Rabbit, and the albums Space Ship One, I Can Destroy, and Warewolves of Portland. His music was featured in the album Metal on Metal alongside Richard Kendrick, Joe Elliot, Phil Collen, and Pretty Boy Floyd.
