Penguin Prison is a New York based electronic pop music project led by DJ, musician and singer, Chris Glover. Chris Glover is a native from New York City and he was born in 1983. His interest in music started at a young age and by age 10, Glover sang in a gospel choir alongside future R&B superstar Alicia Keys. While studying in high school, Glover started a band called The Smartest People At Bard, which had strong Beastie Boys vibes. He became fairly known for his remixes, such as “I Am Not a Robot” by Marina and the Diamonds, or “Hurtful” by Eric Hassle. His sound has been compared with legendary synth pop bands such as Hot Chip and LCD Soundsystem. In 2011, he released his self-titled debut album, which included the singles “Multi-millionaire” and “Don’t Fuck With My Money”.
