William Lee McGinest Jr. is a former American Footballer who played professionally as a Linebacker. He was born on December 11, 1971, in Long Beach, California. He started playing when he was in high school at the Long Beach Polytechnic High School and gained all of the state honors not only in Football but also in Basketball. By his senior year, he was a “Lombardi Award” finalist playing for the University of Southern California.
From 1994 to 2005, Willie played professionally for the New England Patriots where he won The Super Bowl in 2001, 2003, and 2004. In 2006 he signed with the Cleveland Browns for a three-year deal before retiring and joining the NFL Network as a Football analyst and getting the chance to appear on various programs such as NFL Total Access, Fox Sports, and ESPN.
