Wheatus is a rock band that was formed in Northport, New York by Brendan B. Brown, in the 1990s. Peter McCarrick, Madden Klass and Mathew Milligan are a few of the other members of the band. In 1999, they released their debut studio album, titled “Wheatus,” after signing a record deal with Columbia Records. The album was a smashing success, and one track in particular, "Teenage Dirtbag," stood out. The song has appeared in a number of movies, including "Loser." The following album they released was titled "Hand over Your Loved Ones." It was warmly welcomed, although not quite as much as their debut album. Moreover, after going through a few lineup shifts, the band eventually came up with further albums such as “Too Soon Monsoon,” “The Valentine LP,” and others.
