The Cave Singers is an indie-folk band formed in 2007 in Seattle, Washington, by former Pretty Girls Make Graves members Derek Fudesco (guitar) and Pete Quirk (vocals), along with Marty Lund from math rock band Cobra High (drums). Their debut album “Invitation Songs” was recorded in Vancouver and went out the same year through Matador Records, as well as a promotional EP. Their second LP Welcome Joy was recorded the following year. Producer Randall Dunn, from Sunn 0))), worked with the band for their third release “No Witch” in 2011, which marked a change of sound. By their fourth album “Naomi”, they collaborated with Fleet Foxes’ bassist Morgan Henderson. Their 2016 album “Banshee” was independently released thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign.
