The Devil Makes Three is a California based band that plays Americana music. They play a variety of genres, including bluegrass, old time, country, folk, jazz, and ragtime. The members of the band are Pete Bernhard, who plays guitar; Lucia Turino, who plays upright bass; and Cooper McBean, who plays both guitar and tenor banjo. The Devil Makes Three have released six studio albums. In 2002, they created a record under their own name as an independent release. Another independent release, titled “Longjohns, Boots, and a Belt,” came out in 2004. During April 2006, the band travelled to Felton, California, to record two shows with guest fiddler Chojo Jacques. Additionally, after some time, the band made the recordings public in the form of a live album titled “A Little Bit Faster And A Little Bit Worse.”
