Darius Tiyon Miller is a professional basketball player born on March 21, 1990, in Maysville, Kentucky, USA. He led Mason County High School to the 2008 State Championship and was the 2008 Kentucky Mr. Basketball. He played college basketball at the University of Kentucky (2008 to 2012), winning the 2012 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament on the 2011/12 Kentucky Wildcats team.
Darius helped lead Team USA to a gold medal at the 2009 U19 World Championship in New Zealand. He represented the USA at the 2011 World University Games in China, averaging 5.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. The New Orleans Hornets selected him as the 46th overall pick in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft.
In February 2015, Darius joined the German basketball team, Brose Bamberg, winning 2014/15, 2015/16, and 2016/17 German National Championship and the 2017 German National Cup with them. He played in the 2016 and 2017 German All-Star Games. He has played for the New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder. His career accomplishments include All-Bundesliga First Team (2017), All-Bundesliga Second Team (2016), Bundesliga Finals MVP (2016), EuroLeague 50–40–90 club (2016), and SEC Sixth Man of the Year (2012).
