The Sword Bio

Coming from Austin, Texas, The Sword was found in 2003. The band received public attention when J.D. Cronise joined with Kyle Shutt, Bryan Richie, and Trivett Wingo. They made an appearance during the SXSW festival in Texas. The band signed under Kemado Records in New York. Their debut album “Age of Winters” appeared in 2006.

In 2008, “Gods of the Earth” was released. Then by 2010, “Warp Riders” was released which consists of an original narrative written by The Sword. Their fourth full-length “Apocryption” came which features fantasy elements and metaphysical vibes. In 2015, “High Country” came followed by “Low Country.”
