Ronald Michael Pope (born July 23, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter who specializes in pop and rock music. Currently, he is based in Nashville.
Pope grew up in the Georgia town of Marietta.
He went to Joseph Wheeler High School and East Cobb Middle School. Inspired by Bruce Springsteen, he began playing the guitar at a young age.
Pope signed a one-year recording deal with Universal Republic in May 2009, with whom he released two songs, "A Drop in the Ocean" and "I Believe." He has created and distributed his songs independently since leaving the label.
Along with his wife, Blair, Ron launched the record label Brooklyn Basement Records. Truett, a rock musician, has joined the lineup.
On March 6, 2017, he performed at a benefit concert for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.
