Lauren Kobayashi Riihimaki was born on August 11, 1993 in St. Catherine, Ontario. She is a Canadian DIY YouTube star. She took a Graphics Communications Management course at Ryerson University in Toronto but realized that she had a flare for DIYs so she tried her hands on blogging. Her first blog was entitled, “Desire and Inspire.” She saw the need to use videos in demonstrating her creative DIYs and started using YouTube as her medium to do this in 2011. Presently she has over 6.7 million subscribers with 449 videos.
This blogger and vlogger has worked with Starbucks, Etsy and Duct Tape, and P & G. She has featured in the short comedy entitled, “This is how we never made out” and other TV series like “Me and My Grandma” and “Project Mc2”. She has as well appeared in the Seventeen Magazine more than once. She presently lives in Los Angeles and continues with her creative vlogging.
