S. Carey Bio
Sean Carey is a musician from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, best known as the drummer and backup vocalist for the indie folk band Bon Iver.
Carey released his debut solo album, All We Grow, in August 2010, after beginning work on it in 2008 between breaks from playing with the band.
Carey's harmonies have been compared to those of Brian Wilson in his 2004 album Smile. Sufjan Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine, José González, Steve Reich, and Talk Talk have all been compared to his music.
