Jessica Mauboy Bio
Jessica Mauboy is an Australian pop star known for her performance in Australian Idol before becoming a successful actor and solo artist. Jessica Hilda Mauboy was born in Darwin in 1989. Her album “Been Waiting” was released in 2008 and she later went on tour with Beyonce that same year. In 2007, she signed to Sony BMG and released a live album, “The Journey”, which became a top 5 hit. Mauboy then joined the group Young Divas for a short time. Later in 2008, she released her debut studio album, Been Waiting, which included hit single, “Burn” and was invited on tour with Beyonce and to performed at the 2013 Eurovision song contest as Australia’s artist. In 2016 she released “ The Secret Daughter”. In 2019, she released her fourth LP, “Hilda”, which debuted at number one.
