Jake Hurwitz Bio
Jake Hurwitz is an American comedian, actor, and writer born in Spring Glen, Connecticut on August 5, 1985. He is best known for his role on the web series Jake and Amir with his comedy partner Amir Blumenfeld. The web series was started in 2007 and was hosted on their personal website. The series ended up being picked up by College Humor and became their longest running series with over 750 episodes. Hurwitz gained a lot more popularity after hosting the Myspace game show BFF in 2009. In 2013 Jake and Amir announced their next project, a comedy audio podcast called If I Were You, a podcast where they would answer questions their listeners would submit. Their website won the People’s Choice Award for comedy at the 14th annual Webby Awards.
