Melanie Ann Amaro, professionally known as Melanie Amaro, is an American singer best known as the winner of the first season of The X Factor USA in 2011. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, on June 26, 1992.

Her big break came in 2011 when she auditioned for the first season of The X Factor USA. Throughout the competition, Melanie consistently delivered standout performances and ultimately emerged as the winner, earning a cash prize and a recording contract.
Since her X Factor win, Melanie has released several singles and collaborated with notable artists such as R. Kelly and Fabolous. She also made her acting debut in 2019 with a guest appearance on the television series The Good Doctor.
